A prevention weekend is an opportunity for faith leaders to share information and resources with members of their faith community. In 2019, the weekend of May 18 and 19 was Helena’s “official” Prevention Weekend, where multiple faith communities provided resources surrounding the topic of preventing substance abuse, supporting those in recovery, and mental health. However, this is not something that needs only happen once a year or on a specific weekend. Below are some handouts that can be utilized anytime of the year.
