Equine Assisted Learning
Beth Regan, BG Fallon
Prevention Specialist Beth Regan provided an Equine-Assisted Learning Session for elementary aged children in Fallon County on June 18th. The focus of the session was “Friendship”. Kids learned about what friendship is and what it looks like to be a good friend. The horses helped demonstrate this as the children observed how the horses interacted with each other and also how they responded to the children when they tried to make friends with the horses.
Horses instinctively analyze and react to body language and other nonverbal cues providing us with valuable feedback and insights into how we come across to others.
